Heron is proud to sponsor Angel Snugs, a local non-profit organization that donates hand-made knitted scarves, hats and blankets to children battling cancer. Angel Snugs currently supports 39 hospitals and has donated over 25,000 hats and scarves in the past 3 years. Angi Farrugia, president and founder of Angel Snugs, taught a group of Heron employees how to knit hats. We had a great time and look forward to creating more snugs for children fighting cancer. If you would like more information on Angel Snugs or how you can get involved, please visit www.angelsnugs.org.
If you or anyone you know, knits hats or scarves that you would like to donate, please bring them to any Heron Lawn and Pest Control office. Our offices are permanent drop off locations for Angel Snugs.

To show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness, all of our teams wore pink!
Heron sponsored the Cardinals T-Ball team with the Altamonte Springs Babe Ruth program. These little guys were so much fun to watch!
A little construction paper, some glitter and a whole lot of love went into making handmade Valentines that were sent overseas to our troops. A big thanks to Mrs. Kimberly Lackey and her 5th grade class at Bear Lake Elementary who helped!
Thank you to everyone to who donated items to make this drive a huge success. We were able to send an entire truckload of everything from blankets, clothes, toys, books, kitchen items and much more to some families who needed help.

Amongst all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we keep in mind those who need our help in providing a bright Christmas for their children. Our employees showed how big their hearts are by donating toys for the Baby DJ Program, which has been such a wonderful charity in Central Florida for years.
We are really excited to be invited to participate in Brook Hollow Community’s Christmas Parade. Following right behind Santa in the fire truck, we had a blast meeting all the happy faces in the community and throwing candy to the children.
